Darryl Darby

The main designer and Business Manager of Darlin Jewellers is Darryl Darby. Beginning in 1988, Darryl apprenticed in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with master goldsmiths from Hong Kong and Canton, China. After completing his training, Darryl continued to work along side his mentors, creating custom designs for retail jewelry stores. During this time, Darryl learned of an incredible local gemstone called Ammolite. After researching, Darryl established Darlin Jewellers in 1992, dedicating himself to producing custom Ammolite jewelry, and marketing them with great success across Western Canada. Including Canada's Banff and Jasper National Parks, Whistler, Vancouver and Victoria BC.

In early 1996, Darryl was recognized for his skills and success by The Great Designers Guild, Western Canada's only professional design show. He was awarded first in accessories for his "exciting combination of gold with rare gemstones, the uniqueness of designs and high quality workmanship".

In late 2001 Darryl settled in Stony Plain Alberta and opened Darlin Jewellers, Fine Jewellery Gallery on Main Street Stony Plain. Almost 15 years later we've earned the reputation for creating amazingly beautiful custom creations utilizing all kinds of gem stones.
